Tessa Wills is co-producing a Dance Discourse Project to celebrate the release of a special edition of Dance Theatre Journal she co-edited about Sex and Performance in the Bay Area. Artists will join us in discussing their work and how it sits within the intersection of sex and performance practices.

Leading up to the event, we are releasing articles here.

Tessa Wills invites you to peruse her writing, some of which is listed and linked to below. More coming soon.

Tessa Wills is a live artist

and choreographer with a background in music. She is from England, trained in central Europe and now lives in San Francisco. Her work elevates flaws and wounds as portals, ways of staging humanity, and often integrates eroticism to charge the pieces, which happen primarily on stage and video. Aside from the relentless pull of desire, her current practice is inspired by Hermits and professional mourning.
