Tessa Wills is a Social Practice Artist

and choreographer with a background in music and somatics. They make site-specific solo durational performances based around archetypes (such as ‘The Professional Mourner’ and ‘The Hermit’. Their work elevates flaws and wounds and unseen things as portals and ways of staging gentle friendly companionship and transformation. The performance pieces happen primarily on stage and video.
At the heart of their practice is a love of connection, ability to sit with hard things, and a love of change. During this global upheaval, Wills offers creative engagement opportunities to individuals and organisations, for positive challenge, transformation and new perspectives on value.
